Kanthasaami Review

As seen for the umpteenth time in tamil movies the hero is destined to wash away social -economic evils through ways that would always fool your logical reasoning.However in the past....... they did manage to catch your attention through thrills,wits and glamour....well Kanthasaamy fails in almost all these departments except for the glamour part which is in plenty with Vikrams looks,Shreyas skinny flesh show,videshi locales n Mumaid Khaan.....

A CBI officer along with his friends choses the Anniyan way of erasing black money evils from the indian economy.He loots the black money and divides it to the needy as per their requests to him(kanthasaami).Though first half gave the imprssion that it was sort of tolerable with the excitement of seeing Vikram in various getups,i could still feel the relief from the noisy nonsense first half.To make matters worse there was a 2nd half for this movie !!!! ... The sequences where saami n his girlfriend leaves to Mexico bored like never before n if you thought the test was all over ,
the movie has a comedian in the form of Vadivelu..The crowd was too much agitated that some of his dialogues were masked with their booos....
Looks like they have spent their time only in the technical side of things that they present before you aesthetic locales in rich frames,but the joining of which has no or very little story to tell.Most of the time subsequent scenes had no relation with the previous one.Had they spend more effort for decent storyline kanthasaami could have fared much better....

Music -the songs which are already at the top of the charts
Vikram-Though its only fancy dress that he has to perform,he is the real relief.

Almost all the other movie aspects other than those mentioned in +ves

On the whole Its mostly Dissappointing.Might go well with some front benchers or might also appeal to those obsessed with skin shows........
