Pazhassi Raaja--The Movie of a Lifetime

Need more analysis on Pazhassi raaja...?Well the title says it all.It doesnt ever get bigger than this. The Supreme Trio combo delivers it yet again.Once they rocked malayali film audience with the treat of Oru vadakkan Veera gaatha....here i would say they go a step further.

Just a glimpse to the plot the movie deals with the Raajas adventurous protest against the British rule and their policies.Raaja gets Ousted from his home land bu ends up strenthening his own army with support from the tribals.

Hariharan is back with his best when appropriate, ably backed up by the rest of the crew. His takings are awesome, thanks to the brilliant camera works ,aesthetic locations and extra smart art direction.MT Vaasudevan sir has delivered yet another set of powerful meaningful charaters that bond to you ,however small the character may be.Gokulam Gopaalan can be proud of himself as his patience and temperament to go ahead with the project pays off big time .He has made a malayalam movie that can be kept as a reference for indian cinema and indian history.

Resool Pookkutty makes you really feel the difference from some other movie and the movies with his expertise. He has trapped up each and every minute deatils of the ambience making you really feel the environment. The stunt direction from Ravi Divan is exemplary and breath taking. The songs which i had already mentioned in the preview are a treat for both eyes and ears.Ilayaraaja is back to where he really belongs.

Now moving on to the characterisation part. Each and every character has its own space defined in Pazhassi raaja.Irespective of the lengths of thier screen presence they really make you feel that with out them the movie would fel incomplete. It should be prety long after whch we see the actor in Manoj K Jayan sizzle.Padampriya really scores in the action scenes, kudos to her for performing the stunts with the skills of a real warrior.Suresh Krishna got his best character till date.Kaniha proved her acting skills with her exressions that had meanings of love, concern and braveness at different stages of the plot. And now coming to Edachena Kunakan --A power packed performance from Sarath Kumaar. You get to see a New Sarathkumar,he would feel satisfied that a he got this role to show case the actor in him. Finally coming to the Raaja...How many times have you seen MT penning characters for Mammootty that has been classified as classics.Well here again its no different.Mammootty lives the role exhibiting differents dimensions of Pazhassi.Whether it be the Subtle dialogue deliveries to his uncle(thilakan),emotional/affectionate dialogues to his wife(vaal munakal maathram thaalolicha manassu vallapozhenkilum thurakkende??) or the power packed brave dialogs infront of the pointed pistols in the cliamx he simply rocks the screen. Some of his dialogues couldnt be heard completely because of the applause from the audience.
Other cast involving Laalu Alex Devan,Thilakan, capt Raju,Mamukkoya all peformed well in their own space.
Let me repeat It has never been this big a feeling after watching a patriotic movie....It has been never this big a treat with the performances. It has never been this big with the technical richness.

Verdict :The ultimate Movie experience in Indian cinema.

Watched the movie. Its not an extra ordinary stuff. Also I felt Sarath Kumar is the hero hi hi

you shud pretty biased to be saying that pramod....Sarath only has limited scope and expressions to perform he has done them excellently but Mammooty outplays all with a character that begins calmly and explodes in the climax......excellently portaryed...
