RoibinHood Review
Joshiys Robinhood is a movie with a thief as the central character and as the name suggests his thefts are justified by some incidents of his past life.Having called him a thief,i should admit that he is more than that.Having seen many theif based movies Roibn hood is different in the sense that its more more of a high tech robbery with some of the scenes trying to explain us the possibility of the robbery happening.Venkat (Prithviraj) is a tutor in an.......

Loudspeaker: Welcome Back to the freshness of Malyalam Cinema.......
Want to feel the freshness of a real malayalam movie after all recent masala stuffs in the name malayalam cinema, well walk into nearest theatre where loudspeaker runs.Enjoy the 2 hours of thoughtful cinema with Mike Peelippose,a character where you get to see the legend in Mammooty back after the recent ones that tried to use only his glamour quotient and other masala elements .
Just giving a glimpse in to the story,Mike peelippose....... is an innocent village based guy from thoppramkudi who is into the habit of talking tooo loudly which was ok in his village but becomes a nuisance when he moves to the city.Mike comes to the city as a Kidney Donor for the character enacted by Sashikumaar. In Sashikumaars flat Mike gets to look into arid life styles of the city life and interferes in each and every instance where he isnt supposed to.Though initially a nuisance Mike finally gives them a glimpse on what life is all about and hence solving off many their problems.Mike peelippose a chacter carefully shaped out will be carried home by each n every one who gets to spend the 2 hours with him.Whereever he goes he innocently mingles with the people, just for the instance he gets into road side tea seller and gets a group to chat with, sharing with the adventurous history of his father.Unaware of the consequences he goes by his heart. The storyline is simlar to Munnabhai series where Munna comes to the help of many common problems in the modern life style. Finally how does Mike influence the life of his kidney reciepient and does he survive the setbacks in his life is the second half.
Mammootty simply excels as he transforms each and every bit in him to the giult free Thopraamkudikkaaran.A role tailor made for him to steal the show.Sashikumar has also made his character flawless. The comedy team including Jagathi,Salimkumar Suraaj, harisree etc also bursts out laughter though personally felt that it could have done better with 1 or 2 of the crass comedy sequence like that of jagathi being beaten up by the kids ,avoided.Comedy works throughout with Mike in full swing right from his intro and it does suit to the overall flow and mood of the movie.Heroine Gracy singh has very little to do and does her part neatly enough.Other casts from Janaardhanan ,Augustine,Jayaraj's favourite aged artists etc too performs favourably.Music by Bijibal and lyrics by Anil Panachooran really deserves credit in bringing a lot of malayalism into the songs ,with none of them seeming to bore any. Finally to the Director ,Jayaraj once again proves that he is the real unpredictable man among the directors as he has given craps/duds as well as good/great movies. Here he is back with Louspeaker,a simple movie wihtout much twists or thrills, which thrusts heavily on the innocent comedies of Mike, which depicts Nostalgia though aesthetic locations in a short love story of Sasikumaars character and also discusses some personal issues of the flat residents that are pretty relevant now a days. The spot dubbing would at the initial scenes would create a concern but one would soon adapt to it.
My verdict-Not a Movie to be Missed on Any excuse.

Unnai Pol Oruvan--Its Kamal Show--Review
Saw Unnaipol Oruvan First day first show ........
Having seen 'A Wednesday',Unnaipol oruvan was an oppurtunity for me to see Kamal and Laal share the screen space and let me tell you it is the only differing quotient.Thank god that being the tamil version they were not tempted to add crass comedy or other masala stuffs that almost maintains the mood created in the hindi version.

Cheran's Pokkisham Review
Pokkisham (meaning treasure),the lastest attempt from Cheran tells a failed love tale of Nadeera(padmapriya) and Lenin (Cheran) , a love story that blossomed during the 70's and struggled to make its way through with letters being the only mode of communication then. The story begins with Lenin's son getting a chance to go through the letters and diaries of his late father which depicts the flash back.Lenin the high morale ideal guy hero (typical of cheran movies) happens to meet Nadeera in a
